Stacey Kaiser said... Sweet Jerry, It made my heart sing this morning to hear your voice. I miss the calls and emails. It is hard but I want you to spend your energy getting well. I'm thrilled that you like the Huntsman center. I believe that it plays a huge part in your healing process. Negative energy is never good. Thanks for what you call a boring blog but it means so much to read what is up in your world. I know that I'm not the only one that is interested and check your blog on a daily basis. So keep boring all of "us"!! Love, hugs and laughter to you. Stacey

Stacey said... Just got back from Montana. We actually went there to play golf. That was a hoot and a good time. Warren even got an award for the longest drive! Glad to hear that the process has finally arrived and you are heading to Utah. I could take the puddle jump from Casper and come see you! It filled my heart so see that you were the one posting to your blog. Does this mean that you are checking your email? Love to you always, Stacey

Woo hoo! Maybe the luck of the Irish will be with you for the day of green and leprechauns!!?? That would be wonderful if you could go home for awhile. I keep checking your blog to see if you are homeward bound.

Sweet dreams.

Good Morning,

Just read your blog and was sad that you weren't able to go home for the weekend at least. I've done my usual routine, watched the Sunday Morning show, called my dad, working on 5,000 loads of laundry, read the newspaper, general cleaning and now I'm off to Target.

I'm still very concerned about Warren . He will fast tonight and then have some blood work done in the morning. At least it is a start to find out what is going on with him.

So just checking in and letting you know that I'm thinking of you.

Stacey said... This sucks!! Now that we have that out of the way... Sounds like you are at the crossroads and knowing you things will take a turn for the good. Thanks for keeping the blog updated so I know what is happening with you. Know in your heart that I'm thinking of you and always sending healing thoughts your way. You were in my dreams the other day. Nothing big but I remember waking up and smiling knowing that you made a visit to me. I also remember that you looked wonderful. Funny how I only remember bits and pieces of my dreams. Guess I only remember the important parts. I'll keep checking the blog to see what the doctor says.

xoxo

Stacey said... Just read your most recent blog entry....oh it brings the memories back. I went through a lot of the food and vitamin thing with my brother. I can honestly say that I believe it did help him. We are so fortunate to have so much information in our hands via the internet and how fortunate you are to have Laura sift through it all for you. What I read and looked at on your blog is great. I'm with you on believing that the medical approach is not the whole answer. I firmly believe that there is a lot the can work together. What a crazy journey life can be. Thinking of you and wishing you healing vibes! xoxo

I really enjoyed the article that you posted on your blog. I'm sure that it did hit close to home. It was just like that story in the book that I told you about...it gave me a little more incite to what you are dealing with. I love you and wish so much that I could wave my magic wand and make all of this disappear for you (and the others that are dealing with all of this!).
Glad that you only have today and tomorrow left to deal with the pills.
As always, happy thoughts and healing vibes sent to you.
Love,
Stacey

Well it has been 6 days since you posted anything on your blog....are you okay? Is Kathy okay? Usually when you don't post for awhile you are busy with chemo and/or transfusions. I'm back at work and the kids are back in school (thank God). Very busy with inventory, paperwork, taxes and tearing down the Christmas stuff and replacing it with Valentine's stuff. It is windy and cold. No snow. I'm getting an award in February for my expansion of the shop. It is being awarded by the Downtown Merchant Association. They also like how I have my store front painted and decorated. That was a nice surprise to get that piece of mail. Just checking in with you and always sending you healing vibes!
Love,
xoxo

Sounds like you have been really busy and have had a lot of company. Whew! I would be exhausted. Glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas. We did. It was quiet and relaxing and after today I'm off until the ninth of January. I'm so happy. Business was good and now it is time for me and some of the projects that have been put on hold. If the weather holds, we are still going to Denver for a couple of days. Knowing you, you'll make New Years a wonderful celebration no matter where you are! Thinking of you always.
Love and hugs,
xoxo

Happy Thanksgiving!! Glad that you both have made it and I'm sure that the folks are thrilled to see you both. Wish I was there to share a pokechop with you all. I still giggle when I think about the first time your dad ask me if I wanted one. I told him thank you but I had already eaten!! Oh what fun. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and just hanging out and eating some good turkey. Things have been really busy at the shop so this will be a nice break before the Christmas madness begins. Tell everyone hello for me.

Love to all,

A poem from Stacey... To realize the value of a sister, ask someone who doesn't have one. To realize the value of ten years, ask a newly divorced couple. To realize the value of four years, ask a graduate. To realize the value of one year, ask a student who has failed a final exam. To realize the value of nine months, ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn. To realize the value of one month, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of one week, ask an editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of one minute, ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane. To realize the value of one-second, ask a person who has survived an accident. Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have. You will treasure it even more when you can share it with someone special. To realize the value of a friend or family member: LOSE ONE. The origin of this letter is unknown Remember... Hold on tight to the ones you Love…Life may not be the party we hoped for, But while we are here we should dance.

Stacey said... Good Morning,
I'm sure that you are still recovering from your long drive home. I know that it always takes me a day or two to feel normal after driving that long. Well bud, I am at a lost as to what to say....I guess I will just share my thoughts. I was so angry and sad when I read that your donor had cancelled. I keep telling myself that there is two sides to every story but I find little comfort in those thoughts. I don't know or understand how someone could live with themselves knowing that they didn't follow through with something of this magnitude. I'm truly happy for you that you are back home. Magical things can happen when the heart is happy. Sarah and I have had many laughs and fun watching your virtual vacation. I hope that you continue building that. Like my mom would always sing....What a difference 24 hours makes. Keep posting on your blog and know that I'm thinking of you always. (I've had a couple of restless nights thinking of you and the Home song running through my head.)
Happy thoughts and always with love,
xoxo

While its a nice gesture to listen to every instance where your daughter has a comment, obviously making coffee without a filter is one of those times where experience and common sense should prevail over the ravings of a lunatic mind.

Like I said, all good thoughts and prayers are directed at you and yours. Will keep checking the blog to keep up. You can call me anytime also. I'd be willing to give some of my besotted stem cells if need be. ;) Tell the brothers, Kathy and your mom and dad hello. Thinking of you fondly Terry
8/10 Well I guess you are somewhat settled in. Sure would like to know how things are progressing. Pray and think of you all every day. If you can or feel like it please keep me posted. Dad sends his best. Always Terry

8/5 Cool, I got the photos and the blog! Wonderful! I'll be back in touch this week. I didn't look at email this weekend until tonight. Jaeda was moving, golf was happening, pottery was being thrown, exhaustion has happened. The place in Houston looks very nice! I can't stand the humidity there either! Ugh! Air conditioning is the only answer...that or being in a pool with only your zinc-oxide-coated nose above the water! I'll write more very soon, Paula
8/3 Jerry, Just a note to let you know I'm thinking of you. Hope everything is going as well as it can. I know you won't feel like answering emails all the time. But write when you can. Love ya, Cuz Nancy

8/2 Jerry: Sorry to hear your dropping off the Board but I can understand. I'm surprised to head you'll be gone for such an extended period. Just make sure when you get to Houston you find a place on high ground! It likes to rain down there, sometimes up to a foot or more! While your gone we'll all keep an eye on the place and if you need anything from this end don't hesitate to let us know. DI and I want to wish you all the luck with your treatments. Barney and Diane Gordon
8/2 Hope you are settling in. we are all thinking of you here. Keep in touch. Let me know how things are going. I will keep all positive thoughts for you. You will beat this thing. Jmary

Say Hi to Kathy, and as always, our prayers and thoughts are with both you. Lots of AMOR Bob & Pat

I am singing in two choirs and taking classical guitar lessons. As you proably have heard Linda and I climbed Kilimanjaro last October. Pat is still working on building her psycotherapy client base. Gotta go for now. Check in with you later Chuck
